Qualifications
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who has:
- Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age (required)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing, dependable, and positive attitude

What You'll DoResponsibilities
As a Lead Teacher, you will:
- Create and implement engaging, inquiry and play-based lesson plans aligned with Goddard's educational philosophy.
- Foster a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support each child's individual developmental needs through meaningful interactions and observation.
- Encourage learning through exploration, play, and age-appropriate activities.
- Promote children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Arrange and maintain an inviting classroom that supports learning and independence.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
- Utilize assessment tools to monitor children's growth and development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive school culture.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDA or willing to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
- Sick Leave
