Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
We are looking to add a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to our growing clinical team. As a respected provider of behavioral health services throughout County, NY , we deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to older adults residing in nursing homes and assisted living communities. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a PMHNP who is passionate about geriatric behavioral health and motivated to enhance the emotional and psychological well-being of elderly patients. Requirements
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license , with certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Ability to function autonomously while managing a steady caseload across multiple facilities.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and solid understanding of psychopharmacology and therapeutic treatment options.
- Clear, compassionate communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Comfort with EHR platforms and standard computer applications.
