About the Role:
Join the Paris Baguette team in Moorestown, NJ, as a Cake Decorator and unleash your creativity! In this exciting role, you'll craft beautiful and delicious cakes that bring joy to our customers and elevate their celebrations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and decorate custom cakes for various occasions, ensuring high aesthetic standards.
- Prepare and mix icing, fondant, and other decorative elements.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and special requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in inventory management of baking supplies and ingredients.
- Stay updated on cake decorating trends and techniques to enhance skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and offering cake recommendations.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve decorating skills.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cake decorator or in a similar role.
- Strong artistic skills with attention to detail and creativity.
- Knowledge of various cake decorating techniques and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school degree preferred.
- Passion for baking and creating memorable experiences for customers.
