We’re seeking a detail-focused Premium Auditor to review financial records for the purposes of commercial insurance policy premium adjustments. You will examine payrolls, sales records, general ledgers, disbursement journals, vendor payment reports, P&Ls, etc. You will also interview business owners and managers to develop a complete understanding of the business being audited. If you’re analytical, thorough, would like to learn about many industries, and travel locally, then we’d love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits (mostly onsite with some virtual work) of insured businesses
• Review payroll records, ledgers, and other financial documents
• Verify employee classifications, subcontractor, and contract labor use
• Thoroughly describe the business operations of the company being audited
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the process

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
• Experience in insurance, auditing, bookkeeping, or data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
