Job DescriptionBuilding Service Tech
Base Pay: $22.00 - $30.80 per hour
2nd Shift: 3:45 PM - 12:15 AM Mon - Fri
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITES
Performing property maintenance with basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
- Patching, painting, and completing repairs on buildings and ground facilities
- Position duties require a full range of motion, must be able to bend, stand, stoop, kneel, reach, walk, and lift for extended periods of time
- Repair/troubleshoot air conditioning units
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance
- Maintain cleaning logs and maintenance logs; related to inspections
- Wear PPE required by the company.
- Able to work in inclement weather conditions and perform work in outdoor environments.
- Observe safety standards in a safe manner at all times
- Be able to work overtime when required
- Be able to safely drive a forklift truck
- Must have experience using small power and hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waiste

- Must possess strength, stamina and mobility to perform heavy physical work with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions
- Will use a variety hand and power tools, may drive a motor vehicle and/or light construction equipment, fork trucks, platform lifts etc.
- Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 90 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment and assistance
- Must be able to read printed materials and a computer screen
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; talk and hear
- The employee is frequently required to stand and sit for long periods, as well as occasionally be required to climb or balance
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
- Exposure to variable temperatures as impacted by the weather
Work Environment
Mainly a manufacturing facility, where exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, heavy pallets, moderate to loud noise level, and air-borne dust, powders, and fumes. While working, will be required to wear various personal protective equipment (e.g., clothing, gloves, goggles, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, cut resistant aprons, etc.) based on work area or task.
