Temporary Turn Help Worker
JOB PURPOSE Temporary Turn Help will assist in a variety of responsibilities including the make-ready process and preparation of new move ins under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This role is not to exceed 30 (thirty) days from the initial start date. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
- Office organization and administrative work
- Responsible for daily clean- up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas
- Participate in unit inspections as requested
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager – including painting, fixing, building, reading directions, sorting, and other miscellaneous activities
- Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors.
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
- Assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Willingness and desire to learn.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, carry, push, and pull for an extended periods of time
- Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others
- Patient, even-tempered and works well under pressure
- Effective time management skills
- Able to follow directions from a supervisor
- Able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures
- Able to accept constructive criticism
- Able to climb and work from ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads
- Able to work weekends or overtime as the job requires
