Volt is immediately hiring Machine Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift in Wharton, NJ.

Shift Timings:

1st Shift: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm

2nd Shift: 6:30 pm to 6:30 am

As a Machine Operator, you will:

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Set machine stops or guides to specific lengths using scales, rulers, or templates.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Assist with machine setup and collaborate with other operators to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations.

This is a Full time, Contract to Hire Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or trade-related role.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
