Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Neurology

As a Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough neurological assessments and examinations
• Diagnose and treat neurological disorders and diseases
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Provide patient education and counseling on neurological health
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Active medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in neurology
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 7a-7p

Patient Volume: 15-20 per day

Will handle new consults

Lumbar puncture skills are a plus

Support Staff: PA

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
