BAS / HVAC Controls Technician

HVAC Controls - BAS – HVAC- Building Automation Systems- DDC Controls

Our New Jersey-based full service mechanical contracting/BAS/HVAC Controls client is actively seeking to add an experienced BAS/HVAC Controls Service Technician with the ability to install, service, trouble shoot and repair building automation systems. Programming & commissioning experience a plus. Compensation is competitive & commensurate with experience.

****Geographic service areas include Central and Northern New Jersey****

Qualifications

• Two or more (2) years of BAS/DDC control systems experience installing, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/ automated control systems which control HVAC equipment such as AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems
• Interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation
• Ability to read & interpret mechanical & electrical blueprints
• Program and modify controllers i.e. (Niagara, JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, etc.)
• Support retrofits, upgrades, and service calls
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, energy management systems
• Experience with common BAS platforms
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
• Programming or commissioning Distech DDC controllers a plus
• Familiar with BACnet architecture
• Niagara exposure
