The Continuing Education and Workforce Development department is seeking part-time, non-credit instructors to facilitate soft skills, ESL and computer software training for employees of area businesses. Course topics include, but are not limited to, Customer Service, Communications, Problem Solving, Team Building, Supervisory Training, Microsoft Office, ESL and more.
Example of Duties:
- Facilitate trainings, develop and/or modify curriculum, as needed
- Fulfill administrative tasks to include attendance, following college policies
- Experience with video communication platforms (Zoom and WebEx)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Flexible schedule offers days, evenings and/or weekends
- In-person instruction as well as virtual instruction
- ESL experience a plus, not required
- Excellent presentation skills a must
Supplemental Information:
Class times and days vary to fit the needs of the employer. Instructors are not required to have complete availability of all days and times.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $40-$50.

- New Jersey Sick Leave : Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
