This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility serving a diverse patient population, including pediatric emergency cases. • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 31, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shifts per Week: 3 (36 hours/week)
• Orientation: March 31, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Penn Chart Class: April 3, in person, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Penn Chart EHR)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 – $2,100

Required Qualifications — ER RN

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED)/ER RN experience caring for adults and pediatrics (pediatric emergency experience preferred)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Seasonal Flu vaccine required
• Ability to work every other weekend and coverage for one winter and one summer holiday
• Limited requested time off (RTO)

Emergency Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing and acute care to patients of all ages, including pediatric emergency cases
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and management of acute and critical conditions in a fast-paced ED
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely using Penn Chart electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in required orientation, Penn Chart training, and unit-specific education
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance for emergency services
