Senior Associate, Lab Compliance & Operations
Target Pay Rate: 50-60/hr **salary will be commensurate with experience
Qualifications:Moreover, you meet the following professional requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6+ years of industry related experience
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of laboratory equipment
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of laboratory applications and environment
• Proven experience working in teams
• Ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment and with tight timelines
• Ability to be proactive, enthusiastic and goal orientated
• A team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Scientists, Trial Managers, Data Managers, Clinicians, vendors labs) to support product development strategy
• Strong communication skills - both oral and written Responsibilities:
As Principal Associate of Laboratory Management, your role plays a key position within the Laboratory operations and services capabilities. The Principal Associate will lead daily execution of tasks, projects, and maintenance of systems in the US laboratories. He/she provides scheduling of equipment lifecycle, document review, lead cross-functional improvement projects, and process optimization.
The Principal Associate of Laboratory Management role is ideal for a seasoned operations professional who thrives in cross-functional environments, demonstrates a high level of ownership, self-motivated without a direct people management scope. Responsibilities for Principal Associate are as follows, but not limited to: • Serve as a primary point of contact for laboratory facilities health and support overall laboratory planning initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end equipment lifecycle processes including procurement support, implementation, calibration, validation, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Support implementation of laboratory operational standards, training of staff, continuous improvement efforts, compliance readiness, and system troubleshooting.
• Maintain oversight of the REES environmental monitoring system, escalating and resolving alarms, managing calibrations, and ensuring documentation compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Facilities, Procurement, EHS, and IT to coordinate lab upgrades, service contracts, installations, and space modifications.
• Participates in cross-functional projects and provide technical laboratory management expertise internally and externally.
• Escalate planning, budgetary to management to ensure business continuity and success.
