In most cases, are leaders in the shop and chosen to support the development of other technicians when needed. At times, may be called upon to interface with customers in various capacities.

What You’ll do as an A level technician:

Perform a thorough multi-point inspection/test drive & document all findings
Complete work in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair it in a timely manner
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs in person or on video.
Utilize computer/tablet to obtain prior authorizations and document warranty repairs.
Keep work area clean and in accordance with standards of safety and proper disposal of waste

About you:

Proven track record of achieving goals as an A level Technician.
Brand-specific and/or ASE certifications are a plus.
The highest levels of quality and pride in what you do.
A desire for your income to increase with your production.
Multi-Brand experience is preferred but not required.
A current valid driver's license and insurability rating is required
A professional work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
