BABCO Building Services is currently seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Package Handler to join our team at a luxury residential community. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Details
- Position: Package Handler
- Location: Jersey City, NJ
- Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays
- Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $17.30 per hour
- Employment Type: Part-Time
Responsibilities
- Receive packages from delivery carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon, etc.).
- Log incoming packages into the property's package management system.
- Organize and store packages safely and efficiently.
- Notify residents when packages are ready for pickup.
- Verify resident identification before releasing packages.
- Maintain accurate package records.
- Keep the package room clean, organized, and secure.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and delivery personnel.
- Follow all company and property procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, concierge, package handling, warehouse, or a similar role is preferred.
- Conversational English required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
