CNC Machinist

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain Haas and Okuma CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings , ensuring parts meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and finishes.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height/depth gauges) to verify product quality.
• Understand and edit G-code and M-code programs as needed.
• Upload, download, and manage machine programs using basic computer skills.
• Train operators on loading, machining, unloading, deburring, and troubleshooting processes.
• Record production data, maintain setup sheets, and log serial numbers accurately.
• Identify and implement improvements to fixtures, setups, and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Follow supervisor and management instructions and communicate effectively across teams.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (lathe and mill).
• Proficiency with Haas and Okuma machines, tooling, setup, and program editing.
• Other Industrial Machines DMG MORI, Mazak, Makino, Doosan/DN Solutions, FANUC, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring and inspection tools.
• Associate degree, technical trade school certification, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen , green card holder, or permanent resident.

Work Environment:

• On-site, Monday–Friday , 1st or 2nd shift, with potential overtime.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment .

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $25.00–$35.00 (based on experience).
• Benefits include PTO, 401(k) , and medical coverage .
