Summer Camp Session: July 6th- August 28th, 2026
Monday – Friday only: Enjoy your evenings and weekends off!
Full-time position: 35–40 hours per week - consistent daytime hours with a great work-life balance
Rain or Shine – We’re a Team! At Apple Montessori, we believe in flexibility and teamwork. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our Lifeguard/Swim Instructors support our classrooms for the day, helping create a positive learning environment indoors. Your role may shift, but your impact stays strong — rain or shine!
50% support toward your Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including CPR & First Aid!) * Must work 35 out of 40 camp days to qualify
What You’ll Do:
- Keep a watchful eye and maintain constant surveillance of the pool
- Lead developmentally appropriate swimming lessons for children
- Be ready for rescues and perform CPR/First Aid when necessary
- Ensure pool safety and hygiene, including chemical checks
- Jump in to support classrooms on rainy days – we’re a team, rain or shine!
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- CPR & First Aid Certification – or willingness to obtain as part of your Lifeguard Certification process.
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification – or a commitment to complete certification prior to your first official day.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children
- Strong awareness, alertness, and a passion for safety
- Team spirit and flexibility — ready to help wherever needed
