Job Title: NJAOC Senior Mainframe Developer - Hybrid

Primary Skills: Cobol, CICS, DB2 hands-on exp., Stored Procedures, coding, usability testing, debugging, Leadership exp., conversions for IDMS/DC to CICS, IDMS to DB2, IBM OS/JCL (MVS).

Location: Trenton, NJ (Local candidates required to work Hybrid -2 days onsite, 3 days remote.)

Work address: 25 Market Street, Trenton, NJ 08625.

Start details: Two weeks after hiring.

Duration: 6 months plus to be extended.

Work arrangement: Hybrid: 2 days Onsite, 3 days Remote.

Interview: Web Cam only.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for a hands-on Senior Mainframe Developer who is highly motivated, a self-starter and who has team leadership experience .

Hybrid - 2 days Onsite, 3 Days Remote. Local Candidates preferred.

Note: Engagement will be extended after the current PO is exhausted.

Excellent Communication (written and verbal) is required for this role.

Required Skills
- Overall IT experience: Required. 12 + yrs.
- Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study. Required.
- Certifications:
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Required.
- Hands-on experience - COBOL/CICS/DB2 Coding, testing & Debugging. Required. 12 + yrs.
- IBM OS/JCL (MVS). Required. 12 + yrs.
- CICS. Required. 10 + yrs.
- IBM/DB2. Required. 10 + yrs.
- Experience developing supportive documentation. Required. 9 + yrs.
- Experience in Usability Testing (participate with the users in the system testing of their programs). Required. 9 + yrs.
- Experience effectively communicating ( verbal and written) and collaborating with internal and external groups. Required. 9 + yrs.
- Overall technical and IT experience. Required. 12 + yrs.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team. Required. 3 + yrs.
- SQL. Required. 9 + yrs.
- IDMS/DC to CICS Conversion. Desired. 9 + yrs.
- IDMS to DB2 Conversion. Desired. 9 + yrs.
- Java/J2EE/Webservice Experience. Nice to have. 5 yrs.
- Experience in JAVA or PEGA. Nice to have. 1 yr.
- Experience with Stored Procedures. Required. 5 + yrs.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in information Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.
