Family Medicine Physician
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $320,000–$330,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Summary
In this role, you’ll provide full-spectrum primary care helping patients stay well, addressing concerns early, and managing chronic conditions so they don’t become emergencies. Your typical day includes seeing a scheduled list of patients, reviewing labs, adjusting treatment plans, and coordinating care across services when needed. It’s practical, steady clinical work with a real impact on patients’ long-term outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care for patients of varying ages in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor common medical conditions
- Perform routine physicals and preventive screenings; recommend immunizations
- Create care plans, write prescriptions, and coordinate follow-up visits
- Order and interpret labs/diagnostics; communicate results clearly
- Coordinate specialist referrals and review outside records when applicable
- Document visits and maintain accurate EHR records
Requirements
- MD/DO and completion of Family Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active/eligible NJ medical license
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong documentation habits and comfort working in an outpatient workflow
