POSITION TITLE: Marketing Communications Manager
REPORTING LOCATION: Remote (US or Europe)
REPORTS TO: VP, Marketing
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: The Marketing Communications Manager will support global product line strategy of our Oncology Research Services business unit, work closely with commercial marketing teams to create all facets of marketing operations consisting of (but not limited to) Social Media Posts, Blogs, Eblasts, Landing pages, Website pages and other digital based content. The Marketing Communications Manager will also work closely with scientific and laboratory operations to collect, organize, analyze, and share data for marketing purposes as needed. This will include the generation of marketing collateral for new product development efforts and for expansion of existing products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Campaign Creation & Content Strategy - Partner with Product Manager to assure consistency in the branding, positioning and messaging relating to Champions Oncology and its products & services globally. Develop content strategies ensuring the creation of assets that resonate with the target audience
- Digital Marketing - Work with internal and external stakeholders to create and deploy digital channels/campaigns across social media, email and the web.
- Reporting - Monitor and maintain scientific/technical knowledge of the Champions service portfolio . Manage KPIs and create reports.
- Events: Working with the events team helps to execute event strategy, , and support events at domestic and international meetings and trade shows.
- Maintain scientific and technical knowledge of Champions portfolios of service offerings
- Proactively ensure all marketing collateral and digital content is up to date and accurately reflects the status of the portfolio.
- Assesses market competition monitoring competitors' communications
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at Champions Oncology to launch new products and update existing offerings.
- Required travel less than 10%.
- Other duties may be assigned verbally at any time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects and ability to prioritize, adhering to timelines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
- Critical thinking and scientific acumen.
- Experience with scientific writing.
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to influence others to reach common goals as well as act independently.
- Proficiency With Microsoft office and popular marketing applications required.
- Proficiency using HubSpot Inbound Marketing platform required
- Project and product launch experience is recommended.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Scientific and/or Marketing Degree.
- 5 -10 years related experience in a combination of science, strategic marketing, product management, communications in a Life Sciences organization
- Strong digital experience and demonstrable proficiency with current marketing technologies is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time using a computer in a typical office environment.
