Dental Treatment Coordinator
Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dynamic Dental Treatment Coordinator. Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet patients and serve as the director of first impressions for the clinic.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and confirm upcoming appointments to reduce no-shows.
- Discuss treatment plans with patients and their guardians, providing clear information on the necessity and benefits of recommended procedures.
- Manage patient records with accuracy and ensure all treatments are correctly documented and communicated to the dental staff.
- Collaborate with the dental care team to streamline patient care and optimize treatment schedules.
- Handle billing and payment processing, ensuring transactions are accurate and patient questions are addressed promptly.
- Engage in continuous education about the latest pediatric dental practices to enhance your role and provide up-to-date information to patients.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and various dental care professionals to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Provide empathetic support and guidance to patients and families, making their dental care experience as positive as possible.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or similar role in a dental office environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear and compassionate patient interactions.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, practices, and treatment coordination process.
- Understanding of dental office compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
