Lead Teacher - Full Time

Location: Tiny Steps Learning Center, Paterson, NJ

Tiny Steps Learning Center is expanding and seeking passionate Lead Teachers to join our team. We provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Position Overview:
The Lead Teacher will educate and care for children ages Birth to 5 years old, teaching age-appropriate skills and subjects.

• Physical caregiving and developmental assessments.
• Following the curricular plan.
• Building supportive relationships with staff, parents, and students.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with toddler children in a daycare setting.
• Associate Degree in Education or current CDA certification (Preferred).
• Strong understanding of child development and toddler educational methods.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
• Able to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times per day.
• Willingness to submit to background checks.
• CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Available to work full-time, including as late as 5:30 pm (Depending on work shift assigned).

License/Certification:
