National Program Director

The National Program Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding program goals.
- Responsible for overall P&L of the contract, including any risk share metrics applicable as outlined in client agreement
- Ensure contracted services, information flow and all other deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate on development of performance goals and objectives at all levels and appropriate measures to ensure achievement.
- Oversee selection, evaluation of employees, and minimize turnover through execution of retention strategy
- Inspires ownership, accountability, initiative, and engagement within the entire team by regularly communicating the vision, business objectives, performance outcomes, and future action steps.
- Manage and evaluate CNE performance, implement corrective/developmental actions and conduct annual performance appraisals.
- Monitor team achievement, goals and business plans in alignment with national program business plan.
- Provide opportunities for personal and professional growth within Syneos Health.
- Implement programs which foster an engaging environment to rewards accomplishment and encourage the advancement/retention of productive employees.
- Demonstrates relentless drive to achieve business goals and can understand and evaluate the potential impact of external events on the approved strategies
- Demonstrates strong strategic thinking and communications skills by collaborating with customers and key stakeholders.
- Interface with other functional leaders and teams in marketing, managed care, medical, human resources, and operations in order to achieve business goals
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the client to discuss and address business issues.
Along with your energy and versatility, you must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in related field / RN preferred
- 5+ years in healthcare/pharma required, 3+ years in field pharma leadership position
- Strong program management within pharma industry required. Experience developing and managing nurse educator or medical teams highly desired.
- Strong business acumen to include HR, finance, compliance and regulatory team interface
- Excellent organization skills, especially in project planning, implementation and team management
- Ability to identify strategies with greatest business impact, formulate appropriate business plans within the approved strategy, and enroll their team to execute the plan.
- Previous successful work experience in management of teams.
- Ability to negotiate and influence cross-functionally
- Current driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel overnight up to 25%
