Job Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate bartender to join our team at Sofia. The ideal candidate will be a master of mixology, with a deep understanding of cocktails and a flair for creativity. As a bartender at Sofia, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience by crafting delicious drinks, providing attentive service, and contributing to the lively ambiance of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

• Craft a diverse range of cocktails, including classic favorites and innovative creations, with precision and expertise

• Develop an in-depth menu of food offerings in addition to beverages

• Maintain a well-stocked bar, ensuring the availability of quality ingredients and garnishes

• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction

• Work collaboratively with other team members to uphold the high standards of service and hospitality set by Sofia

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying the manager to place orders as needed to ensure adequate supply

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of alcohol and adherence to responsible service practices

• Contribute to the development of new cocktail recipes and seasonal beverage menus

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end restaurant or cocktail bar

• Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and ingredients, as well as classic cocktails

• Exceptional mixology skills and a passion for creating unique and memorable drinks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure during busy periods

• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift and carry up to 25lbs

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is preferred
