Production Assembler
Production Associate/Assembler
We are a leading tooling manufacturer for the packaging industry, dedicated to outputting quality products and world-class service. Our company has been in operation for over 25 years and specializes in steel-rule cutting dies and printing plates. Currently, we are seeking an individual to join our cutting die production team as an Assembler. It is an entry-level position that offers tremendous growth potential, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities
- Reading and understanding assembly drawings
- Preparing materials
- Aligning materials and assembling parts to build more complex units
- Adhering to job specifications
- Checking output to ensure product quality
- Creating proofs of each completed product
- Working both independently and within a team
Qualifications
- Must be able to measure components to a 1/32nd of an inch with a ruler or measuring tape
- Must be able to lift product weighting up to 60lbs unassisted
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Must be comfortable with power tools
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Must have a mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Candidates with experience in a manufacturing, light industrial, or job shop environment preferred
