Junior Associate - Trial Attorney

Salary:
$120,000 base salary
Bonuses based on business originated by the attorney
Additional performance-based bonus opportunities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and motivated Junior Associate Trial Attorney with 5–7 years of litigation experience to join our Farmingdale, NJ office (onsite). This role focuses primarily on personal injury litigation, with exposure to additional civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate is passionate about trial work, eager to develop courtroom skills, and confident taking ownership of cases. While trial experience is preferred, a strong desire to become a trial lawyer and willingness to step into the courtroom are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing personal injury cases from inception through trial

• Draft and argue motions

• Conduct depositions

• Handle court appearances and conferences

• Participate in trial preparation and serve as second chair when appropriate

• Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate closely with partners and support staff

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of litigation experience

• Strong background in personal injury law

• Substantial legal writing experience

• Experience drafting and arguing motions

• Comfortable handling court appearances and depositions

• Interest in gaining meaningful trial experience

• Ability to take ownership of cases and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in developing a book of business over time

• Comfortable working in a dog-friendly office environment
