Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled Operations Team Lead to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. This critical role involves managing the daily operations of the Logistics Center in a cost-effective way, ensuring both internal and external customer needs are met. The ideal candidate will be a leader who fosters a productive and efficient environment, directly contributing to our ability to satisfy customer demands.
**Schedule: Monday- Friday: 7 am to 3.30 pm ( weekend availability when needed)**
**What You'll Do (Responsibilities)**
In this role, you will:
+ Lead daily operational flow by overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulously organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
+ Collaborate with team members and the Operations Supervisor to foster positive employee relations, provide comprehensive training, and escalate employee issues as necessary to maintain open communication.
+ Ensure productivity, quality, and compliance by providing mentorship, monitoring team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and preparing detailed operational reports to inform decision-making.
**What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)**
**The ideal candidate will have:**
+ Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven leadership experience within a warehouse or logistics environment, specifically in fulfillment or e-commerce operations.
+ Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skills in monitoring daily production goals and dynamically adjusting strategies to meet KPIs.
+ **Forklift certificate is a plus**
+ Physical requirements to lift at least 40 lbs, with frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping as required for the role.
