Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Specialist in Pennsauken, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, maintaining a secure environment for customers and staff. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. In this role, you will support access control measures, respond to situations as needed, and work collaboratively with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement as needed to support a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and daily patrols as required by site policies.
• Remain visible and approachable to guests and employees to provide support and a welcoming presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
