Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and deliveries. In this stationary role, you will support access control, monitor front desk activity, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or front desk responsibilities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, logging visitor activity, and communicating with site contacts for entry approval.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Answer phones, manage visitor check-in and delivery-related inquiries, maintain accurate front desk records, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
