Locum Tenens Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist Outpatient High-Risk OB | New Jersey

We are seeking a Board-Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist to provide locum tenens coverage with a leading academic medical program in New Jersey . This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering advanced perinatal care to a high-acuity patient population.

Location:

 Central NJ Easily accessible from NYC and Philadelphia

Assignment Details:

Start Date: November 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)

End Date: May 31, 2026

Setting: 100% Ambulatory/Outpatient

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Call Requirement: Yes (details to be discussed)

Clinical Scope:

• Supervise and interpret advanced perinatal diagnostic studies (ultrasound, biophysical profiles, Dopplers)
• Consult on complex maternal-fetal conditions: preterm labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, placental abnormalities, and more
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences (e.g., maternal cardiac disease, fetal anomalies)
• Collaborate with sonographers, genetic counselors, residents, and APPs
• No primary obstetric deliveries or gynecologic care required

Patient Volume & Support:

• Approx. 130150 scans/day shared among team
• Full support staff including ultrasound techs, nurses, and medical assistants
• Academic environment with residents, fellows, and APNs on-site

Qualifications:

• ABOG Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active New Jersey medical license (or IMLC-eligible)
• Experience in academic or high-volume ambulatory MFM practice preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
