Inventory Control Specialist

Staff Management Group is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 9AM - 5:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $25 - $30 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to support growing e-commerce

operations. This role focuses on managing back-end processes within the Amazon ecosystem,

ensuring accurate inventory management, order placement, and coordination with

international suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across e-commerce platforms (primarily Amazon)
• Place purchase orders and track shipments from international vendors
• Coordinate logistics, shipping timelines, and product availability
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and supply chain activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to support forecasting and planning
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or operational issues
• Support general e-commerce and administrative functions as needed

Job Requirements:

• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems/platforms
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Amazon preferred) or inventory systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce operations is a plus
