Surg Tech CVOR - Travel Job

Join our team at Jackson HealthPros as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you’ll function as a member of a cardiac team, expertly assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You’ll ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 1.5+ years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Must have scrub experience
• Proficiency in heart and lung transplant experience; kidney experience highly preferred
• Experience with valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, dissection, VATs
• Hybrid Room, Endovascular, vascular experience (i.e., Endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, trans carotid artery revascularization (TCAR), AV fistula, Fem-Pop bypass)

Assignment Details:

• Shift: Days, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
• Working Hours: 7a-5:30p for 3 days, 7a-3p for 1 day
• On Call: 8-hour shift 2 weekdays either 3-11 or 11-7; on-call 24 hours Saturday/Sunday (one weekend per month)
• Floating to other units may be required when CVOR volume is low
