Position Summary

Capital Maintenance is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to identify, pursue, and secure new commercial cleaning contracts. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter with business development experience who wants unlimited earning potential and the flexibility to manage their own schedule.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, networking, scheduling appointments, conducting introductory meetings, and working with company leadership to develop proposals and close new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new commercial cleaning opportunities
• Conduct cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and in-person networking
• Build relationships with:
  • Facility Managers
  • Property Managers
  • Building Owners
  • Office Managers
  • Purchasing Departments
• Schedule and attend sales meetings
• Coordinate site walkthroughs with Capital Maintenance management
• Follow up on proposals and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of prospects and activities within CRM systems
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry associations when appropriate
• Meet monthly sales activity and revenue goals

Ideal Candidate

• Previous B2B sales experience preferred
• Experience selling commercial cleaning, facility services, staffing, security, HVAC, landscaping, or similar services is a plus
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Comfortable making cold calls and prospecting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation

Performance Expectations

• Minimum 20 prospecting activities per week
• Minimum 5 qualified meetings per month
• Minimum 2 proposals generated per month
• Consistent pipeline development and follow-up
