Senior Analyst, FP&A

The Role
The Senior Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for providing support to management for Operations and Shared Services budgeting, forecasting, and planning. Tasks include frequent interactions with the Operations & Shared Services leadership (including Field Teams, Brand Executives, Finance, Sourcing, Legal and Human Resources) to review P&L activity and variances to P&L targets and provide reporting on key metrics and risks and opportunities. This position will take direction from the Manager, Operations & Shared Services Financial Planning & Analysis to work on projects that achieve identified department goals which in turn align to the WHR corporate goals and strategic plans.
What you'll do
- Lead in monthly close process for Operations & Shared Services; review results and research variances to provide explanations, troubleshoot questions/issues.
- Preparation of month-end / quarter-end / year-end actuals reporting and forecast of financial results including executive dashboards, revenues, margins, purchased labor, and other expense drivers. Provide analysis and support for annual strategy plan and budget process. Track ongoing risks and opportunities and highlight key business drivers.
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis ranging from revenue projections to cost containment initiatives.
- Ensure billings and expenses are processed and recorded according to Wyndham policies and procedures.
You'll be successful if you have
- Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace while not sacrificing accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines & work collaboratively in the Finance department and with business partners in Operations & Shared Services.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and the ability to perform intermediate functions required.
- Ability to adapt to changing requests and be able to prioritize work.
- Capability to work and complete tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to defend a position but be open minded to suggestions.
- Process oriented to drive efficiencies.
- Detail oriented.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3-5 years in an FP&A role.
- Business degree or MBA a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Hyperion Planning & Essbase financial systems, a plus.
- Strong Excel skills.

Compensation & Benefits
For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
