Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Tax Supervisor/Manager to join our Top 50 Firm. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse client base, including family offices, government entities, non-profits, and construction companies. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in tax management while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of our practice. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the tax compliance process for a diverse portfolio of clients including family offices, government entities, non-profits, and construction companies.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Review and prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
- Provide advisory services and guidance on tax-related issues and strategies to clients.
- Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on family offices, government, non-profit, and construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff.
