The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview :

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of detail, such as: Diagnostic/Screening mammography procedures; localizations; and stereotactic biopsies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.

Qualifications :

Required :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program that meets the requirements set by the ASRT and the New Jersey Certification Board
• Minimum one year experience

Certifications and Licenses Required :

• Must be licensed by the New Jersey State-DEP and registered by the ARRT (RT, R) (M)

Scheduling Requirements :

• Day shift
• Per Diem

Essential Functions :

• Orders supplies as needed for the department
• Printing reports and schedules for the following day
• Produces diagnostic procedures in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Consistently reviews scripts and orders with all pertinent and correct information
• Other duties as assigned
