We are searching for an ideal candidate who is mature, focused and task oriented as well as patient, nurturing and kind. Infant Teacher duties and responsibilities
- Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of infants
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants to grow and learn
- Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and education
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education
- Childcare: 2-3 years in infants room (Required)
- Proven experience as an infant teacher
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Patient, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creativity and cognition
- Certification in child CPR and First Aid
- Work Location: In person

- Plan and implement lessons
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (active learning, student engagement, child observations) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem and lesson plan based upon children's interests
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children by providing open-ended learning opportunities and materials
- Supervise children at all times, inside and outdoors
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to partner in the education of our students
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Proven experience as an infant teacher
