Geotechnical Engineer

Project Geotechnical Engineer:

• Location: Woodbury, NJ.
• Salary: $95,000 – $130,000/year (DOE).
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM.
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire.

Responsibilities:

• Plan/manage field investigations, soil testing, and site inspections.
• Analyze data, perform geotechnical calculations, and prepare technical reports.
• Oversee materials testing and offer construction support.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on practical solutions.
• Supervise field techs and ensure quality in deliverables.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical concentration preferred).
• 4–6 years’ geotechnical/construction-phase experience.
• PE license preferred; EIT/FE considered.
• Knowledge of Lpile, Settle 3D, Slide, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, writing, and project management skills.
• Ability to work 100% on-site.
