Process Engineer (Lab)
Location: Union Beach, NJ
Pay range: $54-$69 per hour DOE

Leading fragrance/flavor manufacturer is in need of a Process Engineer to join the growing team!

In this role, you’ll support the development of cutting-edge fragrance delivery technologies through laboratory experimentation, prototype development, and analytical testing.

Duties:

• Conduct laboratory experiments to support fragrance delivery system characterization
• Perform bench-scale and pilot-scale experiments for process development
• Prepare prototypes for analytical testing, material characterization, stability, and performance evaluation
• Accurately document procedures, results, and observations
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to support project goals
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related scientific field
• Years of relevant experience
• Experience working in laboratory environments
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
