Fleet Mechanic
Class A or B Over-Night or Weekend Fleet Mechanic. $40p/h
This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our diverse fleet of FedEx branded vehicles, including Tractors, Straight, Box, and Vans.
Class A or B Mechanic shifts available:
1. Monday Through Friday (6pm-2am)2. Saturday & Sunday Times are negotiable
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance. (Vans, Box, Step-Van, Straight & Tractor)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective solutions.
- Repair various systems including electrical, brake, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, Diesel & Gas, and air brakes.
- Perform Road calls, as needed, to ensure fleet reliability.
- Perform daily, on-the-spot maintenance inspections prior to the vehicles leaving the terminal for the day.
- Manage your own time effectively to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of practical related work experience in fleet maintenance or a similar role.
- Must pass a drug test to ensure safety and compliance.
- Valid driver's license in good standing to enable driving of serviced vehicles.
- Must pass a background check, no Felonies or Misdemeanors.
