AV Digital Signage/Support Technician

We specialize in designing, installing, and supporting multimedia environments for luxury retail and hospitality spaces. As an AV Digital Signage Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering delightful and engaging visual and audio experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the installation and maintenance of digital signage systems
- Collaborate with customers Marketing and Media teams to manage immersive multimedia experiences
- Provide remote support and troubleshooting for video networks
- Work closely with the graphic design department to create and edit content
- Configure and set up various media players and audiovisual equipment according to client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with video and music systems, including connectivity, playback, and sound quality problems.
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person to diagnose and resolve audiovisual equipment issues.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their audiovisual needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Install and maintain audiovisual and IT equipment, including digital sound processors, amplifiers, video extenders, media players, workstation/servers and video displays.
- Conduct quality assurance tests on audiovisual systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in audiovisual technology to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a related field
- Experience in AV technology and digital signage systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in various locations
- Proven experience in configuring and setting up media players and audiovisual equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality service and support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Media Services Worldwide is a boutique audiovisual agency. Founded in 1986, we are a dedicated team that designs, specifies, installs and supports multimedia environments primarily for luxury retail and hospitality/entertainment public spaces such as cinemas, hotel lobbies and restaurants. For many of our projects we are involved early in the process, developing and designing the amazing visual and audio experiences with the architect, consultants and store development team.
We manage projects from start to finish in addition to providing professional services worldwide with 24/7/365 remote support. Our technicians are based in major cities throughout the United States (including Honolulu, HI), Canada and the United Kingdom as well as traveling technicians and strategic partners for special and remote area installations/support. In addition to running video networks globally for some of our clients, we also have a full-service graphic design department to create content or for editing and reformatting content coming from clients or advertising agencies.
