Job Summary :

The Glastron Stockroom/Inventory Control Clerk follows set procedures to ensure the flow of materials and accuracy of inventory. Organizes and conducts work tasks on time. The Glastron Stockroom/Inventory Control Clerk will report to the Materials Supervisor.

Job Duties :

• Clean and keep supplies and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and stock location procedures.
• Compete weekly inventory counts as provided by supervisor and all required counts as needed.
• Issue and/or distribute materials, products, parts and supplies to work orders or coworkers based on work order releases and coworker requests. Ensure proper paperwork is completed accurately for all transactions.
• Receive all purchase orders for incoming parts following set procedures and as directed by supervisor.
• All inventory, purchase order, work order transactions for receiving, issuing, and adjusting must be entered into ERP system (SAGE) per set up procedures.
• Records and follows up with supervisor on parts shortage lists for both in-house manufactured items and purchased items. Maintains shortage logs.
• Understands production work board (magnet workflow system) as relates to job responsibilities.
• Performs delivery and supplier/local pick ups as directed by supervisor using company van.
• Develop daily and weekly routines to achieve goals. Performs timely work duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED needed.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in inventory control

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good computer literacy.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a helpful and friendly manner.
• Knowledge of the glass Industry a plus.
