Responsibilities
- Implement and adjust therapy plans under supervision of a licensed PT, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Lead and assist patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, ROM activities, gait training, balance training, and transfer techniques.
- Prepare, position, and assist patients for therapeutic interventions; apply modalities as directed and monitor patient response.
- Document progress notes, outcomes, and any changes to the treatment plan; communicate clearly with the supervising PT and the care team.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and proper use of assistive devices and equipment.
- Maintain treatment areas, manage supplies, and report equipment issues promptly.

Requirements
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements.
- Ability to work in a long-term care rehabilitation setting and follow the PT/ PTA plan of care.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours (35 per week).
- Flexibility to work 08:00–16:30, 5 days per week.
- Travel-ready with the ability to relocate to Cape May, NJ for the assignment period.
