Senior Electrical Estimator
NJ Electrical Contractor seeks experienced Senior Electrical Estimator for their growing business.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Estimator with a strong background in high-rise residential construction/Hospitals/Pharmaceutircal plants/nursing homes . This role involves preparing accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates for multifamily and mixed-use projects. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of electrical systems, code compliance, and the bidding process.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze drawings/specs to prepare electrical cost estimates.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs for lighting, power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Lead the bid process, including pricing, vendor coordination, and proposal preparation.
Evaluate high-rise project plans and identify scope gaps or cost-saving options.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors throughout preconstruction.
Qualifications:
7+ years of electrical estimating experience, including high-rise residential .
Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst).
Strong understanding of NEC and local codes.
Excellent blueprint reading and communication skills.
Salary up to $140k including contribution towards medical/dental insurance
