Job Title: Construction Worker (HIRING ASAP!)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction field, specifically in plumbing, piping, trenching systems, and landfill work. You will play a crucial role in installing piping and plumbing systems on various construction sites throughout New Jersey. This includes work on swimming pools, HVAC systems, plumbing support pumps, wastewater treatment plants, and other construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install piping and plumbing systems on construction sites.
• Work under the direction of engineers or project managers.
• Collaborate with teams of 3-5 contractors on each project.
• Interpret and work with blueprints for PVC pipe installation.

Essential Skills

• OSHA 10 Certification (Preferred)
• 3+ Years of Construction Field Experience
• Strong experience in plumbing, piping, trenching systems, and landfill work
• Proficient in PVC pipe installation and blueprint reading

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with confined spaces is a plus
• Equipment operation experience is beneficial
• Hardworking and able to work well in a team environment

Work Environment

This role involves being in the field for extended periods, often under heat, cold stress, and other adverse environmental conditions. Candidates must be capable of physical exertion and lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary. Work will be conducted in all weather conditions, with a hybrid work environment of 50% office and 50% field work. As a valued team member, you will represent the company on client sites.

This is a Contract position based out of Wharton, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
