Director of Housekeeping – Healthcare Facility
A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our environmental services team in a skilled nursing setting. This is a full-time leadership role offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and staff by ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily housekeeping operations across resident rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces
Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support facility-wide initiatives
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage
Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient housekeeping operations
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in environmental services preferred
