Lead Dental Front Desk - Full-Time

Location: Teaneck, NJ
Pay Range: $21-$26/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $700

Pediatric Dentistry of Teaneck is seeking a Lead Dental Front Desk professional to help manage and guide front office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and ready to take a leadership role in creating a smooth, patient-focused experience.

Leadership and Coordination

• Oversee front desk daily operations

• Lead daily huddles and support team training

• Assist with onboarding new front desk staff

• Communicate with Office Manager regarding team needs

Patient and Office Management

• Welcome and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner

• Verify insurance eligibility and handle co-pays

• Schedule and confirm appointments

• Explain treatment plans and financial options to patients

• Maintain accurate billing and patient records

• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards are followed

Operational Efficiency

• Track daily metrics including production and collections

• Assist with office supply management and vendor coordination

• Recommend improvements for patient flow and administrative systems

• Minimum 1-2 years of dental front desk experience (pediatric preferred)

• Prior leadership experience or supervisory skills

• Proficiency with Dentrix, Microsoft Office, and insurance portals

• Knowledge of dental insurance billing and patient collections

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• High school diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation to and from Teaneck, NJ
