The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services plays a pivotal role in driving excellence in patient care by efficiently managing all operational aspects of the inpatient med-surg unit. Daily responsibilities include supervising a team of dedicated nurses, implementing patient care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing patient assessments, developing and evaluating nursing protocols, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Additional duties include managing budgets, scheduling staff, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a positive and progressive work environment.
What' Needed to Succeed:
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New York or ability to obtain
- Progressive clinical experience in an acute medical surgical, telemetry, or similar setting
- Proven leadership experience highly desirable!
