As a **Security Officer - Utilities Patrol** in **Plainfield, IN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals on site. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
+ Report any observed irregularities or suspicious activity promptly to the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on patrol.
+ Complete security-related logs, reports, and documentation as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Assist in the implementation of site-specific protocols, especially those related to the utilities environment.
+ Follow all company and client procedures related to security-related matters and emergency response activities.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
