At All American Sewer Service, we expect our Plumbing Service Manager to be a leader and example to the field members who repair, install and provide routine plumbing maintenance for residential and commercial clients.

The plumbing service manager will be working directly with the dispatch team, field techs and other management staff to help facilitate and manage the sales and successful completion of all plumbing projects.

The plumbing service manager will also be required to communicate with vendors and customers as well as coordinate with the tech staff and management to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Our plumbing service manager will be responsible for handing a wide variety of daily operations in our plumbing service department. The following are just some of the tasks and duties that will be required:

• Interview, hire and train service work staff technicians to be able to manage and handle the amount of service work coming in.
• Generate sales leads and sales. Grow customer base including property managers and other potential reoccurring client services such as service agreement plans.
• Supervise and check technicians' work to verify the quality is up to the high standards we expect and our customers deserve.
• Maintain a high skilled plumbing staff by providing periodic training on the latest techniques and procedures.
• Monitor goals, budget and company objectives to ensure company profitability and success. Hold meetings and one on one training as well as periodic reviews.
• Ensures that all technicians are following all company guidelines and policies.
• Make sure all service vehicles and equipment are properly treated and maintained.
• Provide required reports to senior management.
• Work with other managers to meet company objectives and goals.

Preferred Minimum Requirements and Experience

• More than 4 years plumbing management related experience
• Superior sales and customer service skills
• Some post education from college, trade school or other
• Prove an in depth knowledge and understanding of the plumbing trade
• Understand the local New Jersey market
• Clean, neat and professional appearance
• Positive attitude and one who takes pride in workmanship
• Able and willing to work weekends and holidays if required
