We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for culinary excellence, possess outstanding leadership abilities, and have a thorough knowledge of fine food, wine, and spirits.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Lead and manage the front-of-house team with a hands-on approach, setting a high standard of service and performance through personal example.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff, instilling a strong understanding of fine dining service standards and restaurant operations.
- Manage inventory, cost of goods, and financial control to ensure profitability without compromising on quality.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, including social media engagement and promotional campaigns, to enhance the restaurant's presence and brand.
- Utilize POS (Toast) and inventory software proficiently to manage operations and ensure smooth service.
- Provide exceptional guest service by handling escalated issues and ensuring all guests have an outstanding dining experience.
- Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment.
- Implement and manage restaurant events, catering to private parties, and other special occasions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant management role.
- Extensive knowledge of food, wine, and spirits, with the ability to educate and inspire staff to uphold the highest standards.
- Expertise in managing fine dining service standards, from guest interaction to the quality of food preparation.
- Proficiency with Toast POS system and inventory management software.
- Strong understanding of marketing tools and platforms, with experience in implementing effective campaigns and increasing social media engagement.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead by example, maintaining a professional demeanor and high energy in every aspect of the job.
- Self-motivated, problem-solver with a proactive approach to improving service and operations.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Salary and Benefits :
- Competitive salary of up to $110,000 per year
